Key Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
• Map business processes to Odoo modules such as:
  • Sales, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, HR, Manufacturing
• Conduct GAP analysis and propose optimal ERP solutions.
• Configure standard Odoo modules based on client needs.
• Prepare functional documents (BRD, FRD, SRS).
• Conduct user training, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and documentation.
• Provide post-implementation functional support.

Technical Responsibilities

• Customize Odoo modules using Python and XML.
• Develop new modules based on business requirements.
• Handle Odoo framework, ORM, workflows, and security.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party systems (APIs, payment gateways, etc.).
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
• Work with PostgreSQL for database management.

Qualifications:

• Functional Skills Strong understanding of ERP concepts and business workflows. Experience in at least 3–4 Odoo modules (Accounting knowledge is a plus). Ability to translate business needs into system solutions. Technical Skills Proficiency in Python and Odoo framework. Experience with XML, JavaScript, and QWeb reports. Knowledge of PostgreSQL database. Experience in API integration (REST/JSON). Familiarity with Odoo.sh or on-premise deployment. Soft Skills Strong communication and stakeholder management. Problem-solving and analytical thinking. Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Team collaboration and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / IT / Commerce / MBA. Odoo certification is an added advantage. Experience in Middle East projects (VAT, localization) is a plus. Key Deliverables Successful ERP implementation and customization. High-quality documentation and client satisfaction. Timely delivery of project milestones.
